Introduction to

Body Foundation

 

The seminar has the goal to give a general understanding about Body Foundation methods and techniques. Participants will learn different exercise and the relation between the muvement involved and the body learning process.

Each session of the training focus on a specific aspect of movement: self perception, coordination, balance and space-time relationship using different techniques from theater, yoga, acrobatics, juggling and gymnastic.

Lesson 1

  • Posture and self perception

  • Mobility: general warm up

  • First approach to coordination

  • Body energy economy

  • Breath exercise

Lesson 2

  • Posture and self perception

  • Mobility: the “passo neutro”

  • Coordination with objects

  • Body power development

Lesson 3

  • Body power development

  • Balance: concept and application
